Alec Davis retired after seven years as president of the Bank of Skaneateles. Before cross country skiing, Alec competed in snowshoe races. He started skiing at Lapland Lake during the 1989-1990 winter season and has been an instructor since the 1998-1999 winter season.
Alec won his age class in the American Birkiebeiner in the
winter of 2011! He enjoys teaching to maintain his own technique and
to share his passion for the sport. Alec’s favorite trail at Lapland Lake is Karhu Polku. Alec is also a nationally ranked canoeist.
