Deb
took xc ski lessons from Sonny Brown of Mayfield when she was in
her 20's. She learned how to tar and wax skis, and she
skied in the field behind Sonny's home. Hailing from a family of
xc skiers (her father skied to his job at Mayfield High School
during the gasoline shortage of the 70's, and her brother also
skis), she joined Lapland Lake's Ski Patrol in the 2006-07
winter season. Deb works in the Recovery Room at Nathan Littauer
Hospital in Gloversville, NY. She also works at the Mountain
Valley Hospice House.
