Fast and fun! Lapland Lake's instructors are always pleased to introduce skiers to this exciting cross country skiing technique. We'll show you the basics of skate skiing and help you understand the dynamics of propulsion, weight transfer, timing and pole usage. Participants should be in good condition with some upper body strength and have had some prior experience with classic skiing including snowplow technique or have had alpine or roller blade experience. Skate skiing equipment is required. Offered weekends and holidays at 10am. $20 per person. Ski-Like-A-Finn Lesson Package: $55 for adults and $51 for ages 12-17. Package includes full-day facility use pass, skate rental package and hour-long group lesson.
