Each skier receives expert attention in selection and fitting of equipment from Olavi Hirvonen,
resort operator and former U.S. Olympic skier, or from one of his carefully trained staff members. Additionally, in almost all instances, bindings can be mounted while you wait, so there is no need to
have to leave and return another day for pick-up.
Lapland Lake's completely stocked "Finnish Line" retail/rental shop carries everything for the winter enthusiast. Our popular "Try Before You Buy" program allows you to test many of the skis we sell on-snow before making a commitment to purchase. We sell equipment from
many major manufacturers including Alpina, Atlas, Atomic,
Bauer, Exel, Fischer, Havlick, Karhu, Little Bear, Madshus, NNNII Rottefella,
Oneway, Peltonen, Rossignol,
Swix and Tubbs.

A full line of waxes and ski base care supplies are available. Olavi or one of his skilled staff members will be happy to offer advice, prep your skis and make repairs.
Private

lessons are offered by request.
We also carry Sporthill clothing, socks and sock liners, gloves, hats, headbands, earmuffs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, hand and toe warmers, ski holders, thermometers, water bottles, gaiters, cameras, sunglasses, Lapland pins, lip balm, face protectant, books, magazines, energy bars, Adirondack and Finnish imported gifts, foods and more!
Our
12km snowshoe trail system is fully contained within Lapland Lake's private boundaries to offer snowshoers a safe, solitary wilderness experience on a marked, mapped and ungroomed trail. The Grant Lake Wilderness Trail crossing state land also may be accessed from Lapland Lake's private property. Snowshoers can experience a 6-mile round trip trek through this beautiful, untouched forest land. The southern section of the
famed 132-mile Northville-Lake Placid Trail begins just around the corner. Our rental/retail shop carries snowshoes from
Tubbs and Little Bear.

credit only at Lapland Lake’s lowest selling price. Items
