We have 47km of trails open. 35km of ski
trails are beautifully snowcat groomed with trackset and skating
lanes by Olavi and his trusty Husky snowcat. Surface is

We had hoped to be able to re-open the 3km loop on Woods Lake, but there is still slush in areas due to weight of
snow on the ice. The lake is not safe for grooming so will
remain closed. All other trails are open.

2:15 - 3:30pm. Under Assistant Nordic Director/PSIA-certified
instructor Pat Ferri's and PSIA certified instructor Terry
Ross's supervision, kids ages 5 - 11 play a host of on-ski games
including Toilet Bowl Tag, Limbo, Spider (flag tag), Soccer on Snow, Relay
Slalom, Caterpillar Relay, Sharks & Minnows, Scavenger Hunt and
Elephant Hunt among others! Rides on our Napa Kiikku ice sled
ride may also be included.

Private rooms in our Lapin Tupa Farmhouse are

snowshoe trails, children's

arrival & departure (a per day value of $20 per adult,
$18 per Silver Strider ages 65+, $18 per youth ages
12-17 and $10 per junior ages 6-11). Also included:
nightly use of illuminated facilities including our ski
trail to the lake, tubing hill and ice-skating; one
half-price regularly scheduled group ski lesson per
guest with one of our PSIA-certified instructors, use of
our authentic Finnish wood-burning sauna (separate men's
& women's time periods), and complimentary use of high
speed wireless service in our "Finnish Line" Lodge and
Tuulen Tupa Grill.

through the end of the snow season, there is limited skiing, and
you decide to cancel, we will be pleased to apply your deposit
to another stay within 12 months without penalty. If there is no
skiing and you decide to cancel, we'll refund your lodging
deposit without penalty! It's our no-risk guarantee! (Condition
determinations made by management at least 24-hours in advance.)

Snowshoe by the Light of the Moon!
This winter evening is certain to create lasting memories!
Package includes dinner and dessert at our cozy Tuulen Tupa
Grill followed by a gently paced snowshoe tour. Stop by our
lakeside campfire to roast s'mores! $40 per person package
includes dinner, dessert, coffee or tea, snowshoe rentals, s'mores and guided tour ($30 if you provide your own
snowshoes). Ages 18+, please. Space is limited; reservations
are a must! Dinner service begins at 5pm; the guided
snowshoe tour begins at 7pm and runs until 8:30/9pm. Please
bring headlamps. We have a limited number to loan on a
first-come, first-served basis. Limited space available -

Night facilities are free to those purchasing a full or
half-day facility use pass. Dinner is served beginning at
5pm with a final seating at 7pm. Dinner reservations are
advised and appreciated.

often inaccurate for Lapland Lake's physical location in the
Town of Benson. We are 9 miles northwest of Northville with
an elevation higher than Northville's by 600 - 800 feet. Our
daily forecast is formulated based on the compilation of
several reliable forecasting sources combined with our 35+
years' experience living in this unique micro-climate.
We do our very best to provide accurate, reliable and
timely snow condition reports. This is an outdoor
sport which is impacted by factors which are often out of
our control including, but not limited to, unforeseen
changes in the weather. We recognize that many of you travel
a distance to get to us. Our first morning condition report
is frequently posted before grooming commences to
accommodate those who need to get an early travel start. If,
after grooming is underway, Olavi needs to revise the
report, updates are posted as promptly as possible. We also
do our best to update the report throughout the day whenever
weather or other factors impact conditions. This report
is valid for the date listed on the Snow Condition Report
form below. Skiers and snowshoers should check snow
condition reports on a daily basis to be apprised of
