For Everyone at Lapland Lake!

Visit with Lapland Lake’s Reindeer!  Plan to visit with our two domesticated reindeer, Talvi and Viima, at their lakeside home. A special treat for the young and the young-at-heart!

Season-Long Lapland Lake Volunteer Ski Patrol Raffle! Enter our drawing for prizes including a pair of Rossignol Zymax Skating Skis and Rossignol poles donated by Rossignol. Other prizes include a choice of a Lapland Lake 2-night midweek stay for two OR two season pass memberships during the 2012-2013 winter season. All proceeds benefit the Lapland Lake Volunteer Ski Patrol and will be used for First Aid Equipment. Prize drawing will be held Sunday, March 25 (participants need not be present to win). Tickets available at the "Finnish Line" Ski Shop and at the Tuulen Tupa Grill.

For Lapland Lake’s Ladies!

Lapland Ladies Love to Ski! A special program for women, taught by women. From 9:30am - 2:30pm beginner and intermediate level female skiers, grouped by ability, will receive instruction in classic technique (February 4) or skate ski technique (March 3), enjoy lunch with an equipment & clothing discussion, participate in a social group ski and group wrap-up with hot beverage at the end of the day. The program is led by Lapland Lake’s PSIA-certified instructors Sherry Dixon, Susan Henriksson and Jan Mares. Cost for the five-hour program is $40 including facility use pass, lunch, and discount coupons for clothing and equipment. Cost of rental equipment, if needed, is $15 for this program only. Minimum age to participate: 18.  To ensure space, please pre-register.

For Lapland Lake's Kids!

It's a snow day!  What to do? Come to Lapland Lake for a great winter's day. Parking lots are plowed, grooming is ongoing, the fresh snow is white and welcoming! All kids from itty-bittys right through high school receive half-price facility use passes and equipment rentals on Snow Days, so come up for the best time ever!

Napa Kiikku! - Finnish arctic sled rides for children on the pond 2:00-3:00pm most weekends and holidays (ice conditions permitting). Free with facility use pass or Season Pass Membership!

Lapland Lake Poro (Reindeer) Club - aka Parent Ski Escape! A full hour for children from age 5 - 11. We make learning and improving skiing skills so much fun! Plenty of games and enjoyment under the supervision of two kid-loving Lapland Lake instructors! Two sessions: 11:15am - 12:15pm and 1 - 2:00pm Saturdays, Sundays, holidays. Junior Equipment Exchange Program - If you purchased your equipment from Lapland Lake, boots, poles, and skis may be upgraded for a nominal fee as your child grows. Or, rent seasonally & reasonably - a great option for growing youngsters!

Saturday, February 11 - Romancing the Snow! Bring your sweetie for a day on the trails to enjoy a perfect day of skiing, snowshoeing, tubing and ice-skating. Saturdays are Finn-tastic at Lapland Lake! Delight in Après ski relax at our Tuulen Tupa Grill and enjoy complimentary live music with Dan Lynaugh from 3 - 5:30pm. At least one of the two individuals needs to be employed as an elementary or secondary school teacher to obtain discount. Please bring teaching ID. Half-price pass must be of equal or lesser value. Trails open daily this week 9am - 4:30pm.
