For Lapland Lake’s Ladies!
Lapland Ladies Love to Ski Clinics:
A special program for women,
taught by women. From 9:30am – 2:30pm
beginner and intermediate level female skiers, grouped by
ability, will receive instruction in classic technique. Enjoy
lunch with an equipment & clothing discussion, participate in a
social group ski and enjoy a group skills wrap-up at the end of
the day. The program is led by Lapland Lake’s PSIA-certified
instructors. Cost for the five-hour program is $60 which
includes facility use pass, lunch and equipment discount coupon.
Cost of rental equipment, if needed, and tax is additional. To

Guided Evening Snowshoe
These popular, guided tours
start out with a bowl of chili and a side of cornbread at our
Kuuma Feeding Station. Then strap on your snowshoes (also
available for rent) and head out with our guides on a memorable
moonlit tour, stopping at a lakeside campfire for a snack and
hot beverage. Tours are scheduled on specific Saturdays during
the season; 5:30pm to approx. 9pm. Cost (including food and
beverage) is $34 plus $5 for rental.
Headlamps suggested. Pre-registration required,
online or by phone.
2018 Snowshoe by the Light of the Moon Guided Tour dates:
Saturday January 27 and Saturday, February 24.
Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides!
J and D Percherons Horse Drawn Rides
will be at Lapland Lake from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, January 27; and Sunday, February 18. The
approximately 30 minute ride follows scenic private roads from
our main lodge area to Woods Lake and back. Tickets are $30 for
adults (age 15+) and $20 for children age 4 - 14. Children 3 and
under are free with parent. Tickets are available
online and may also be purchased onsite day of the event,
subject to availability. A $5 per person discount is available
for day of event purchases by lodging guests, season pass
holders, and purchasers of a regular facility use pass. A
12:15 private sleigh ride for up to ten people is available for
$250 with advance reservation.
Wednesday After School
A fun five week program
where local students learn to cross country ski on groomed
trails with PSIA certified instructors. Open to local
students in grades 1 to 12. The program meets from 3:00 -
4:30 on Wednesdays, starting January 10, 2018.

High School Races at
We are hosting the
Johnstown/Canajoharie Invitational on Friday January 19 and the
Mayfield Invitational on Friday January 26th. On these
days west side trails will close to the public at 1:00 PM.

Lapland Sprints (NYSSRA)
- Sunday, January 21
Lapland Lake is back on the NYSSRA calendar.
This is a 2K classic sprint format with multiple heats for like
speed groups. Even skiers who don't advance will get
multiple runs. Race fee of $25 includes full day
trail pass, discount for season pass holders. Registration
closes at 9:30 AM, race starts at 10:00 AM. Register
online in advance.
Ski Patrol Benefit BBQ -
Sunday, February 18
Come support our volunteer Ski Patrol!
From Noon to 2pm patrollers will be cooking up Burgers and dogs,
also bake sale and 50-50 raffle!
Soup-er Seniors Thursdays
Soup-er Seniors Ski and Snowshoe Day!
Every non-holiday Thursday, January 11 -
March 22, 2018, skiers and snowshoers ages 65+ receive
discounted facility use fee of $18 and are invited to enjoy a
FREE cup of hot soup at the Kuuma Feeding Station. Meet
