Deena Ecker joins us as our chef at the Tuulen Tupa
Grill this season at our Adirondack Ski Resort,
bringing to your table fine lunches, dinners and desserts. Her
background in cooking is firmly rooted in her passion for
creating great food and memorable dining
experiences. Through the years, Deena has apprenticed under fine
chefs of the capital region, managed an upscale market & eatery
and most currently owned and operated Mezzo Marketplace &
Eatery, LLC, Albany, NY. She has returned to the Southern
Adirondacks with enthusiasm and a passion and commitment to
cooking in season with local ingredients. Join her for meals
that are sure to entice and please!
Our trailside Tuulen Tupa Grill, open during the
winter season at our
Adirondack Ski Resort, offers a cozy setting with a menu certain to satisfy every craving. Lunch is served daily. Menu items include delicious homemade soups, warming chili, vegetarian dishes, traditional Finnish specialties
including Lohi Laatikko, baked salmon and potato casserole; lihapullat, meatballs; and kaalika,
cabbage rolls along with a variety of selections for the more traditional appetite
along with beer, wine and glogg (delicious hot mulled wine).
Our Kuuma Tupa Snack Bar is open weekends and holiday weekdays for lunches and quick snacks. Its children's play corner makes it a popular spot for families with youngsters.

this season! Saturdays are Finn-tastic at Lapland Lake! Delight in a perfect day of skiing on our expertly
groomed trails. At day's end relax at
in the Finnish Line Lodge and enjoy live music
from 4 - 6:30pm. Wine, beer, glogg (hot mulled wine), juice,
soda, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and
light appetizers are available for purchase. Then stroll up
to the Tuulen Tupa
Grill for our Saturday dinner special! The $15 adult and $10 child (through age 10)
price includes salad, warm crusty bread & butter, dinner special
(varies each week), "from
scratch" dessert and coffee (7% sales tax is
additional). Alternatively, diners may order
off the lunch menu as well. Popular children's menu items are also available. Reservations are
advised and appreciated; dinner is served from 5 - 7pm.
Dinner service begins the Saturday prior to Christmas and
continues through the third Saturday in March; love
entertainment will be offered Saturdays December 26 - March
13.
 On selected Saturdays, before or after a Finn-tastic dinner, delight in a memorable evening of illuminated night skiing (4km of beginner and intermediate trails), tubing and ice-skating until 9pm. Our romantic lakeside campfires under the stars create unforgettable memories! Please refer to our Calendar of Events for these special evenings.
A special take-out dinner menu is available to overnight guests
nightly. Orders may be placed and picked up at the
Tuulen Tupa Grill and enjoyed in the comfort of your tupa
(housekeeping cottage).
Please note: Overnight guests enjoy illuminated activities seven evenings per week as soon as trails open for the season.
