Lapin Tupa (Cozy Cottage)

A gurgling stream runs alongside this original late-1800's
farmhouse.
- Our most spacious tupa -
a wonderful year round choice for groups and family reunions!
- Refurbished two-story 1800's farmhouse boasts a full kitchen with breakfast nook. Nicely equipped with frost-free refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven-range, toaster, electric coffeemaker, pots, pans and utensils.
- Large formal dining room.
Dining room table extends to seat 6 - 8.
- Spacious living room with queen sleeper sofa.
- First floor
bedroom contains a full-size bed with adjacent full bath with shower. On the second level two bedrooms have
a set of twin beds each, and the third bedroom has a
full-size bed. Second level has a full bath with tub-shower combination.
Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, bedspreads, bath towels, hand
towels and wash cloths are supplied.
- Beautifully refinished
original wide plank wood floors on main level; wall-to-wall carpeting throughout
downstairs bedroom and entire second level..
- Please note: In the
winter season, if Lapin has not been reserved in its entirety by a larger group, each of the four private bedrooms are available for rental by one or two guests per room. In this case, common areas are shared by the individual room occupants (similar
to a Bed & Breakfast, but you supply your own breakfast)!
This option is unavailable spring, summer and fall,
however in these seasons you may, of course, rent the entire
farmhouse for your stay.
- Cold weather amenities: Cozy glass-front woodstove (wood, kindling and newspaper supplied); combination of oil and electric heat throughout; overlooks our ice-skating pond
and smaller tubing hill.
- Warm weather amenities: Screened porch with wrought iron table and chair set; chaise lounges and additional outdoor seating; charcoal barbecue; lovely view of pond from dining room.
