Snow Condition Report ~
Open Weekends & Holidays 9am - 4:30pm &
non-holiday Mon-Fri 10am- 4:30pm
We have 47km of trails open. 35km of ski
trails were snowcat groomed with trackset and skating lanes
yesterday and are in beautiful condition, so Olavi is not
re-grooming today. Surface is packed
powder with a fresh dusting on top.
Our compacted base is over a hefty foot-and-a-half, 18 - 21", with
more than two feet, 29 - 34", in
our woods. Our
12km dedicated snowshoe trail network (details re: 3/15
moonlit guided snowshoe tour/dinner package below), both junior tubing
hills and our ice-skating pond are open. As there is still slush in areas due to weight of
snow on the ice, the lake is not safe for grooming so the 3km
loop directly on Woods Lake will
remain closed. All other trails are open.
Forecast: A winter storm warning has
been posted for our region Wednesday and Wednesday night.
This is expected to be a mainly all-snow event for our region. Snow will begin early in
the day Wednesday becoming heavy at times by afternoon with
a 3 - 7" daytime accumulation likely. Snow will continue
through the evening with an additional 5 to 9" accumulation
possible, ending with snow showers by 1pm Thursday.
Please check this report in the morning before driving up

We do our very best to provide accurate, reliable and
timely snow condition reports. This is an outdoor
sport which is impacted by factors which are often out of
our control including, but not limited to, unforeseen
changes in the weather. We recognize that many of you travel
a distance to get to us. Our first morning condition report
is frequently posted before grooming commences to
accommodate those who need to get an early travel start. If,
after grooming is underway, Olavi needs to revise the
report, updates are posted as promptly as possible. We also
do our best to update the report throughout the day whenever
weather or other factors impact conditions. This report
