Spring, Summer & Fall Accommodations
Lodging is available in private tupas - 2, 3, and 4 bedroom
housekeeping cottages - ideal for singles, couples or families. Each tupa
contains living and dining areas; fully equipped kitchen containing full size
refrigerator-freezer, stove-oven-broiler, microwave, electric coffeemaker,
toaster, all pots, pans, utensils and dishware (Lapin Tupa has a dishwasher); separate
bedrooms; bath with shower; electric baseboard heat and woodstove. Tupas
have screened porches and outdoor
charcoal barbeques.
Linens and supplies for woodstoves are included. Pets are not
permitted.

Lodging rates include:
Free use of canoes,
rowboats, paddleboat, beach & swimming facilities, beach toys, lounge chairs,
swing sets, lawn games, hiking/biking trails, woodburning sauna (in keeping
with Finnish tradition, we offer separate
men's & women's hours each afternoon), and complimentary high-speed wireless
service in the "Finnish Line" Lodge. From Independence Day to Labor Day
we offer lakeside campfires up to three times each week. One campfire each week features
theme-based storytelling
by our young and young-at-heart lodging guests!

linens: sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, blankets. Please bring beach

| Complimentary cots and cribs are available with advance notice. |
| Guests at Lapland delight in quality time
spent with one another. No televisions or telephones are provided in our
tupas. Incoming messages
are cheerfully delivered to your tupa from 10am-5pm (after hours in event
of emergency.) Complimentary wireless service is available in our
Lodge and at our public pay phone where there is also a modem hookup.
A fax machine is available during office hours. Please note: cell
service is not yet available in the Benson township, but service is
available in the Village of Northville. |
| Lapland Lake is a non-smoking facility;
smoking is prohibited inside all buildings. We thank you for your
cooperation. |
| Lodging guests may arrive on
their check-in day as early as
11am to use public facilities until their tupa is prepared. We endeavor to have all tupas prepared
for check-in no later than 4pm. However, during excessively active lodging periods,
tupas may be prepared somewhat later. Check-out is 11am;
departing guests are welcome to enjoy our public facilities until 4pm. A public
shower/changing room is available
for your use at the end of the day. If your tupa is not rented on the
evening of your departure, a 4pm check-out may be arranged for a nominal
fee of $20/adult and $10/child ages 6-15 (please verify availability of
late check-out with office staff). |
| Please, pets are not permitted. (But reindeer are
welcome!) A kennel is located south of the resort in the Town of Perth; we will be pleased to
provide details. |
| A limited number of friends and relatives
of guests are welcome to visit for the day. There is a charge of $30.00 per
day for each adult and $15.00 for children ages 6-15. |
| Lakeside campfires are
offered up to three times each week from Independence Day through Labor Day,
with storytelling during one of these nights each week.

| Massage therapy, offered by a NYS
licensed massage therapist, is available to guests in their tupas (24-hour
notice recommended). Half hour $45; full hour $60. Massage
payment may be made by cash or personal check. |
| Discounted rates available
for groups of 20 or more (not available holidays; minimum number of guests
required per tupa - please inquire; 20-person minimum each night required to
obtain discounted rates). |

Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required to confirm
tupa reservations. We request that you notify us
accurately of your arrival and departure dates. Your deposit will
be forfeited if you arrive after the date specified or leave before
the final date of your reservation. Your deposit is refundable
if you cancel at least 21 days prior to your arrival date, less $30 per tupa cancellation fee. (42 days prior for Latu and Lapin Tupas in
the winter season.)
We appreciate your cooperation in understanding that reservations
ensure your accommodations will be available as you request them and
assures Lapland Lake that accommodations are sold as confirmed.
Receipt of your deposit serves as acceptance of Lapland Lake's
deposit-refund policy. Therefore, when situations arise necessitating
cancellation less than 21 days in advance, we most certainly do
sympathize, but we must maintain a business policy. Your deposit will
be refunded only if Lapland Lake is subsequently able to re-rent the
unit (less $30.00 per cottage cancellation fee).
Payment may be made by cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, personal
check or traveler's check made payable to Lapland Lake. There will be
a $30.00 charge on any returned check. |
