Adirondack Cabin Rentals: Lodging is available in private tupas -
cozy 2, 3, and 4 bedroom
housekeeping cottages - ideal for singles, couples or
families. Each tupa (Adirondack cottage) contains
living and dining areas; fully equipped kitchen containing
full size frost-free refrigerator-freezer, stove-oven-broiler,
microwave, electric coffee maker, toaster, all pots, pans,
utensils and dishware (Lapin Tupa has a dishwasher);
separate bedrooms; bath with shower (Lapin Tupa has a shower
in one bath and a tub-shower in the second bath); electric
baseboard heat and woodstove. Tupas have screened porches
and outdoor charcoal barbecues. Linens and supplies for
woodstoves are included. Regrettably, pets are not permitted
(excluding working service animals). We would be happy to provide information
regarding a local kennel.
Rates listed cover up to four
guests per tupa. Supplemental charges apply for additional
guests beginning with the fifth guest. Single rates are available
(please see information in bulleted list below).
Stay a night or two, a week or more - it's up to you! Please note:
Saturday nights require a two-night stay during the summer
months (occasional exceptions, please inquire) and
on the weekends of September 27-28 and October 4-5, 2013. The
Columbus Day Holiday Weekend, October 11-13, is a 3-night
minimum. Otherwise one-night midweek and weekend stays are accepted
throughout the fall season.
Adirondack
Cabin Rental rates (listed below) include: Free use of
canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddle boats, private beach & swimming facilities,
beach toys, lounge chairs, swing sets, lawn games,
hiking and biking trail network, wood-burning sauna (in keeping with
Finnish tradition, we offer separate men's & women's hours
each afternoon), and complimentary high-speed wireless
service in the "Finnish Line" Lodge for guests who bring
their own laptops. From Independence Day to Labor Day we
offer
lakeside campfires up to three times each week. One
campfire each week features theme-based storytelling by our
young and young-at-heart lodging guests!

Enhance your
Adirondack getaway with an exciting rafting adventure on the
Sacandaga River! Class II and III rapids (compliments of daily
water release from Brookfield Power, NY) will get your adventure
flowing as you raft over a stunning 3.5 mile stretch of the
river with breathtaking views of the Adirondack Mountains. Trips
run six times daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on
weekends in the fall. Special pricing for Lapland Lake lodging
guests is only $22 per person, plus tax (minimum age 5). Rafting
adventures provided by the Sacandaga Outdoor Center:

We appreciate your cooperation in understanding that
reservations ensure your accommodations will be available as you
have requested them and assures Lapland Lake that accommodations
are sold as confirmed. Receipt of your deposit serves as
acceptance of Lapland Lake’s deposit-refund policy as detailed
below. Please read the following terms closely.
DEPOSITS: To confirm a lodging reservation a 50% deposit
is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable at
the time of check-out.
CANCELLATIONS: We are a small resort, rather off the
beaten path (we like it this way). As such, cancellations affect
us significantly.
Cancellations made up to 21 days before arrival (up to
42 days for our largest units, Latu and Lapin Tupas and for
groups holding three or more tupas) are subject to a $30
cancellation fee. Groups holding reservations for 3 or more
tupas are subject to the $30 fee for each reserved cottage.
The balance of your deposit will be refunded promptly.
If you cancel your reservation for any reason, including
inclement weather, within the 21/42 day window, we will
endeavor to re-rent your tupa to another party. If we are
successful, a $30 per tupa cancellation fee will apply and
the balance of your deposit will be refunded promptly. If we
are unable to re-rent your tupa, you will forfeit the full
amount of your deposit.
For any reason, should you arrive after the date
specified as your arrival date or depart prior to the final
date of your reservation, you will be responsible for
payment of your entire stay as originally booked.
PAYMENT: Payment may be made by cash, MasterCard, VISA,
American Express, Discover, personal or traveler's check made
payable to Lapland Lake, Inc. There will be a $30 charge on any
returned check.
