John Borel is proud to have been an
instructor at Lapland Lake since the 1999-2000 winter
season. John has been
skiing for most of his adult life. For 10 years John was
co-operator of Adirondack Hut-to-Hut Ski Tours, which
conducted skiers into the Siamese Ponds wilderness and
the Kunjamuck wilderness in the Central Adirondacks,
overnighting at chalets, log cabins and inns. Later, he
was leader of national cross country ski tours and
mountain biking tours for the Sierra Club He has also
led four tours to Norway for hut-to-hut skiing on the
Peer Gynt Trail.
